Vivek R. has repeatedly claimed the “owner occupied credit” (OOC) on a house in West Chester (9172 West Meadow Dr.) while (admittedly) living in a mansion in Upper Arlington since 2021, owned by a shell company LLC.
This was brought to the attention of the Butler County Auditor’s office earlier this year (2025) . The Owner Occupied (Tax) Credit Department investigated and found the evidence that Vivek R. did not qualify for OOC in tax years 2023 and 2024. In the meantime, the property records have been corrected, but there was no consequence for Vivek R. other than that he had to pay the tax credit back, according to the written statement of the Butler County, OH, Auditor.
You may say “so what, it’s not a big amount, and he paid it back”. But it’s about the principle and the fact that this is just another piece of the puzzle that leads to the full picture of the REAL Vivek R. and what type of a person he is!
So, how is this for someone who wants to represent the Ohioans? Is trying to rip them off acceptable?
